    Position Description:


    This position will have responsibility for assisting in the closing and administration of a portfolio of commercial real estate debt investments. A successful candidate must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines and working within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.



    • Assisting in the loan closings, loan financings, loan syndications, and asset management.
    • Maintaining and organizing loan files.
    • Drafting, assisting in drafting, and tracking various loan documents, such as loan assignment documents and confidentiality agreements.
    • Transmitting and organizing business and legal due diligence and third party reports.
    • Coordinating with external legal counsel, transaction counterparties and various vendors.
    • Collaborating with other Granite Point team members, including members of our transaction management, legal, asset management, and originations teams, in both our New York, New York and Minnetonka, Minnesota offices.


    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience related to closing commercial transactions in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with commercial real estate debt structures and documents in the context of both balance sheet and/or securitized lending; Experience with corporate matters is a plus.
    • Highly organized.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent quantitative, written and oral presentation skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team environment.
